The color red permeates my brain, combining with the golds of Montana prairies. The upper left panel of Toil and Trouble reminds me of the cauldron and cackling of three witches in Macbeth. The lower left shows the field of blood from one of the greatest battles in literature. I am calmed by the gray in the cement bridge at Giant Springs, lower right, knowing that long after we are gone, castles and bridges will stand proud.
